It is the part known as iner castle. Inside of the castle that was restored as a palace by the people of Genova can be entered from a Genova crested main gate that can be reached through the sidewalk which has got big steps and the chateau gate protected by a high tower.In Coat of arms in the gates there is the sign of Genova at the top, and at the bottomthe sign of Poggio( the ligurian family), sign of Malaspina and again the sign of Genova.
